Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Assistant Claims Manager to join their client's dynamic team in Texas. This role focuses on supporting the Claims Manager in handling insurance claims related to private and commercial auto accidents. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in gathering information for efficient claim resolutions and providing insights into regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Claims Manager in gathering evidence, analyzing claim data, and making recommendations about coverage and liability.
  • Help resolve claims and ensure efficient and timely payment within company guidelines.
  • Verify practices and procedures for communication, coverage verification, liability determination, loss investigation, and claims valuation.
  • Apply expertise in auto and commercial trucking insurance policies, regulations, and industry standards to handle complex claims.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to clients, adjusters, and management executives.
  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance in all claims handling processes.
  • Develop strategies with a proactive and cost-effective approach to claims handling.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of hands-on experience adjusting personal and commercial auto claims.
  • Bachelor's degree, and/or AIC, SCLA, CPCU or other related field designations.
  • Preferred Adjuster License in Texas, as well as New Mexico, Arizona, and California.
  • Working knowledge of claims administration best practices and procedures.
  • Understanding of vehicle repair processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge of salvage, subrogation, and litigation handling.
  • Proficiency in related claims software or business software.
  • Bilingual - Spanish and English is a must.

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, first shift.
